Structure

• The basic pallet is of the industrial type, similar to the EUR type pallets.
• The basic material is softwood lumber.
• The side walls and the lid are made of wood and are generally 20-22 mm thick. They can be made in a combination of wood and plywood, or OSB with different thicknesses.
• The wood is heat treated phytosanitary according to IPPC 15.
• The boxes or crates can be delivered together with a protective cover made of polyethylene foil impregnated with a corrosion inhibitor of the VCI type, or three-layer heat-sealing foil made of polyethylene with aluminum insert.
• The covers provide both protection for the product from dust and corrosion of metals. Before closing the covers, insert bags with dehydrator (silica gel) to absorb the ambient humidity. VCI foil cover is the most used application for packaging intended for European transport.
